Coming Sunday 04.12.22 we are hosting the ROXANICH wine tasting from 13.00 - 17.00 at Opia, Lagerstrasse 72, 8004 Zurich.

Together with the Zurich agency Brand New World, Mladen Rožanić gave his wines, the winery and the associated hotel a new identity.

The strategically reinvented brand with its magnificent proposition of long aged, rare, natural wines from ancient Venetian lands was today officially presented at the Brand New World’s premises in Zürich, Switzerland, on February 8^th 2022.

The spectacular Roxanich winery, as well as the cutting-edge design hotel of the same name, are located in the medieval town of Motovun, in central Istria, Croatia, right across the North-Adriatic from Venice.

Mladen’s followers must take time and invest real dedication to travel between the different stages he offers to spectators, a travel for the eyes as well as for the taste buds.

Mladen Rožanić embodies that fiery passion for one’s art. Skills honed in a relentless pursuit of knowledge, hard work and love, are that secret ingredient of each bottle of wine he creates.

We believe in the traditional art of wine making. Ancient knowledge, perfected and carefully refined throughout the ages, is woven into each bottle bearing our Venetian family coat of arms from the 13th century.

Grapes for Roxanich’s premiere labels are harvested from Croatia’s most dramatic and coveted wine-growing region: ‘Red Istria’. Named for its striking red, iron-rich limestone soil, its neutral acidity and high minerality make it perfect for growing many of the region’s signature varietals.
